Seed cycling balances hormones, boosts fertility, and eases symptoms of menopause, PMS, and hormonal skin issues.
It involves eating flax, pumpkin, sesame, and sunflower seeds at different times of the month to balance certain hormones. With the seeds, you also take fish oil during the first phase and during the second phase you take evening primrose.
For the first phase, I really wanted to combine the flax, chia and pumpkin seeds into a cookie, because I find it hard to take flax by itself. *it's not necessary you take both flax and chia, but I used chia in this recipe to make them chewy.
3 tablespoons almond flour
1/2 cup erythritol
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup coconut milk or almond milk unsweetened, I like the Califia farms toasted coconut milk
Mix everything together with a spoon and scoop onto parchment paper, bake for 15 mins at 375 F. I like mine crispy on the outside so I baked for 10 mins in the oven, then 10 mins an air fryer.
