Spirulina has antioxidant and inflammation-fighting properties, as well as the ability to help regulate the immune system. It is a great addition to any diet or lifestyle!
I like to enjoy my spirulina in a smoothie!
1 Tbs chia seeds
1 Tsp spirulina
1 Cup toasted unsweetened coconut milk (I like the Califia farms version, but you could substitute any unsweetened almond or coconut milk)
1 Scoop collagen
2-4 Drops of monk fruit vanilla or 2 Tsp of glandular monkfruit
*optional 1 tablespoon of almond butter (this will give the smoothie a nice crunch!)
Blend together in a blender or magic bullet and serve.
