Red Light and Infrared Therapy!
Red light strengthens your mitochondria. When mitochondria are strengthened, they produce more adenosine triphosphate (ATP). When your cells have more ATP, they function better, rejuvenate themselves, and repair damage--these are just some of the great effects from red light therapy. In addition, red light very close to your skin can promote collagen production.
Infrared light penetrates to the inner layers of the skin at about 2 to 7 centimeters deep, making it beneficial for inflammatory conditions. Infrared helps your body produce exclusion zone water, which is the type of water found in your cells.
Red light is visible to the eye, whereas infrared is not. Together they restore, repair, and help protect your body's tissue. Daily exposure for 15-20 minutes has been shown to be extremely beneficial in treating a variety of conditions including chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and migraines.
Personally, I love my #joovv after a morning workout to better regulate my thyroid (due to my Hashimoto's). I also use it during migraines to manage symptoms.
